DEAR Friends,
DEAR (Penfield's Daytime Education at Recreation) has created a series of free distance learning classes hosted by some of your favorite DEAR facilitators. Anyone with a phone, tablet, lap top, or desktop can participate. The virtual platform is called Again there is no fee to participate.
The process to join a DEAR class is quite simple.
1) E-mail Pam Gerace at this address any time before 30 minutes before the class begins and I will send you a link with instructions on how to access theclass.
2) Tell me which class you would like to join (dates below)
3) Optional - Take one of the orientation sessions offered to merely familiarize you with the site and/or read the Basic-Zoom Instructions that can be found here
4) Click the link that I will send to you in an email for the class you wish to join and follow the prompts. You will use these prompts for all devices.
5) Remember: all of these new tools and applications we are using are good for our brains! Don't despair if it takes a few tries for you to connect.
